It was very easy to work with Dushka and Juan. They both have incredible energy and make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. We expressed how important it was to capture the nature of Lanzarote and they executed that in the creativity of the shot. Dushka does not care about the money, she cares about her craft and it showed in the end product.

The family photoshoot went very natural. We were all a little nervous, as we don't have much experience with professional photoshoots, but Dushka was very nice and made us very comfortable. The pictures turned out beautiful!

On a solo trip to Lanzarote I wanted to find a photographer for very specific and special shots for my new branding and website. I'm a spiritual teacher and movement guru so working with people to achieve a heart felt openess was very important to me in looking for a photographer. Photography is an intimate experience and needs a depth of safety and presence from both sides of the camera. I interviewed a few different people and when I found and met Duska from Isla Fotografia I knew instantly she was perfect to shoot with. Before even seeing her photos her energy resonated with me and we agreed to create together. Before during and after all the shoots she was clever and magical with ideas. I met Duska and talked through a few ideas with her about what I was looking for to promote my small Yoga business- Yoga with Gill. I had no expectation of what was to come. On arriving at the location she selected the positions for the shoot the clothing that would be used - and we played with a variety Yoga and meditaion poses. Duska thinks fast and sees through the eyes of the lens much better than any other photographer I have worked with before. The clothing chosen reflected the beautiful light in the sky- the stunning backdrop and the colours of the ocean. Duska also decided to take some short film clips - I had no idea what she would later do with these. So when she sent me the suprise video, which she had put together with the words taken from my biography on my website- it was a complete shock - I was moved to tears! The video and photography footage , captures the stunning backdrop and colours of the Canarian landscape and ocean ! Duska is a truely gifted photographer who shoots from the heart . The results of the work she did for me are top class- unimaginable. She is I can safely say the best photographer that I have used. The photo session was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Dushka was very friendly and gave great posing ideas during the shoot. The quality of her photos are excellent and she provided them in both colour and b&w, which was much appreciated. We actually visited more locations that I expected, which was brilliant! The beauty of Lanzarote is mesmerising — almost extraterrestrial — and it was a pleasure to experience this beauty in different places on the island. We went to the wine fields, Timanfaya National Park, road LZ 67, and finished up at the Bodega Stratvs winery. Professional and very good with children to make spontaneous and playfull pictures! Even though we were with a big group of multiple families, she managed to make photos off every person and family in different compositions. We would definetly recommend Isla Fotografia to friends !
